I had never met Laurie before.  I was living 1200 Miles away from the property I was interested in.  I'm sure that's the last thing agents want to hear from a prospective buyer.  Laurie was very polite from the beginning and somehow seemed more excited about the property than I was.  Being so far away I knew this was not  going to be a typical purchase.   At least for me.  It seemed very common for Laurie though.  I explained that I wasn't going to be able to come down soon and that she might have to visit a couple properties that I was interested in. Without hesitation she agreed to do and even visited the properties that same day.  I told her what I was interested in and she understood right away what I was looking for.  Just a hour after my first contact with Laurie was inside two of the properties giving me a detailed showing using FaceTime.

I fell in love with one and she gave me all the resources to get the process rolling.  She kept in touch with me for the first few days until I got pre-approved.  She warned me that the property I was looking at would not last long and I need to act quickly.  My offer was accepted and Laurie became my own personal assistant guiding me everyday with things I needed to do everyday.  Some people probably don't need that kind of help from a Realestate Agent well I did.  During the purchase there were some hurdles or disagreements made by the previous owners and listing agent.  Laurie smoothed over everything with great professionalism.  We all know buying and selling a home is one of the most stressful things we do in life.  This was my 5th home and it was certainly the smoothest transaction I've experienced.  Laurie knew I was going crazy staying in the hotel waiting to close.  Laurie singlehandedly got the sellers, listing agent, lender, title company , and insurance people to expedite the process and got me closed two weeks earlier than the original closing date.  I only visited the property for the appraisal and the walk through.  Laurie took care of the rest.  After closing I have heard from Laurie three or four times.  She says she is just checking in to see if everything is ok. That's service to me.  Highly recommend Laurie if you want an experienced, intelligent, motivated compassionate and respectful agent.

Last but not least. Laurie is an agent that picks up the phone when you call her. She will email or text you back within seconds. That something I was never accustomed to
